There have been a number of OTHER shows in OTHER parts of the country who used the name; HOTROD HOEDOWN. There is ONLY ONE ! The GRAND DADDY ! EAST COAST STYLE ! SINCE 1999 !
THE HOTROD HOEDOWN AND ROCK-N-ROLL RUMBLE ! we have been doing the longest and leading the wave of RAT ROD /KUSTOM KULTURE / HOME GROWN HOTROD / ROCK+ROCKABILLY / CAR CARNIVAL / shows.
Others have followed, but few lead! The list of those that have been influenced,helped or jut out right copied the HRHD is too long for print, but it is safe to say that MANY of the new shows around the Phila/Nj are bloomed out of the nuts dropped at the HRHD ! The JALOPY SHOWDOWN, ROCKABILLY RUN, VIOLATORS, are among our pals that will be glad to sing praises . (and us theirs) That being said ; DON'T be TAKEN IN BY OTHERS! Let Them Know .that YOU know the REAL DEAL ! We are going to do some heavy promotion again this year and have many things planned; CD/DVD/Merch,etc.

DVENTURELAND is a day camp that has been family owned and run since the early 1960's. Kind of reminds me of Turkey Point from the movie CRYBABY. It's rustic and homey ,laid back and fun. There is tons of room, a giant shaded field that can hold 1000+cars easily, a big vendor area,a featured vehicle and show car area, a car corral area, a STAGE under a BIG TOP TENT , covered seating/vending area,inside spaces for food,rest and a LATE NIGHT LOUNGE! ALSO: a big spectator parking area, CAMPING areas ; for motor homes,and Vintage Trailers !
PLUS : SWIMMING/ FISHING/ PADDLEBOATS/ PUTTPUTT GOLF/ PLAYGROUND/and other activities for kids and the whole family! Besides the CAR SHOW / SWAP MEET/ VINTAGE + COLLECTIBLE + ART VENDORS / ART SHOW / FOOD ; there will be ; TATTOO CONTESTS/ MR+MS+LIL MISS HRHD CONTESTS, DISPLAY BOOTHS, DRIVE IN MOVIES /VIDEO SHOWINGS/ DJ MACK THOMAS+ ROCKABILLY ROADHOUSE DJs, CELEBRITY GUESTS , VARGO DRAGWAY NOSTALGIA RACING DISPLAY, CLUB DISPLAYS, WPRB BOOTH, and you can B.Y.O.B.+ BBq or buy stuff at the show! LIVE BANDS ! ALL 3 DAYS ! plus loads of crazy stuff !

Do You have a SPECIAL TALENT/SKILL that would be useful or entertaining?WANT TO VOLUNTEER ? We NEED people to act as SECURITY and PARKING !
